This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for payments made to AFAAQ REAL ESTATE FZ-LLC (“AFAAQ”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) through our website afaaq-real-estate.com.
1. Scope
This policy applies to service fees and any refundable amounts paid directly to AFAAQ. It does not apply to payments made directly to developers, escrow accounts, or third parties in connection with the purchase or lease of a property; those payments are governed by the relevant sale, reservation, or tenancy agreement and the developer’s own terms.
2. Nature of Real Estate Payments
Property purchase payments, booking deposits, and instalments are typically paid to the developer or a regulated escrow account, not to AFAAQ. Refunds of such amounts are subject to the terms of the applicable Sale and Purchase Agreement (SPA) and UAE regulations.
3. Refundable and Non-Refundable Fees
- Refundable: service fees paid to AFAAQ for a service that has not yet commenced may be refundable, subject to any administrative costs already incurred.
- Non-refundable: fees for services that have already been delivered, and any government charges, third-party costs, or fees expressly stated to be non-refundable at the time of payment.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us at Sales@afaaq-real-estate.com or +971 56 631 0815 with your name, the payment date and reference, and the reason for your request. We will review eligible requests within 7 business days.
5. Processing of Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take up to 14 business days for the refund to appear in your account after it has been processed.
6. Cancellations
Refunds arising from a cancellation are also subject to our Cancellation & Replacement Policy.
